Well, it has come to my attention that I have neglected my blog for nearly a whole month. I suppose that it is now time to give you all an update. Three out of the past four weekends we've had little stomach things going on with us. Apparently that is common when you move into a whole new world of bugs and viruses. Oh well, no worries, hopefully soon we'll be accustomed to the area and have no more issues.
Last week was one of the most eventful weeks I have had in a VERY long time, and boy did I love every minute of it!!!! Well, except for the end when alas I had another stomach issue. My aunt and uncle from Kansas came out to visit. Our FIRST out of town visitors! We went out to eat and found several yummy restaurants to eat in (this was super exciting since we have been having issues so far), we bought some posters to decorate the spare room with (which is finally all clean, you can walk into it, and it feels a lot bigger than I remember it being), we went to the DSW that just opened, and we got pedicures at this amazing spa place that gave you snacks to dip into a delicious chocolate fountain as you waited for the polish to dry. We played some Euchre when my uncle was up for it, and just enjoyed each other's company. We really enjoyed having them, and can't wait to visit again sometime in the near future.
I am going in to the school board office here soon to talk to them about subbing and to see what all I need to do for that. Hopefully I'll get that all situated and taken care of so I can bring in some savings. It will be nice to have a reason to get out of the house other than grocery shopping.
Well, my wonderful husband just finished cooking up the steak. Talk to ya'll later!!!!
